Welcome Bryson

Just thought I'd share a peek at my cousin Laura's little guy. Isn't he adorable. If my hotmail date is right, he was born on Easter Sunday, but I thought I heard about it on Saturday??? Anyways, here's the note from Auntie Cindy....

Hello everyone. Wanted to let you know the newest member of the family has arrived!! Bryson Joseph. He was born at 9:30 this morning and he is a real cutie. Tiny bit of hair only---hooray, we love our baldies! He is 20 1/2 inches and get this he is 9 lbs! Laura and baby are doing fine and she will be coming home on Monday (her home) We have little Iszak with us. Poor Bryson sure got his little head and face marked from delivery. But that should clear up soon. He has Shane's chin, but Laura's good looks. For 9 lbs he sure looks tiny, but it does not take long and your arm starts to hurt from holding him---ha ha! WE ARE VERY PROUD GRANDPARENTS AGAIN!!!
WELCOME TO THE WORLD LITTLE BRYSON---A TRUE GIFT FROM GOD

Happy Easter

Before we head out of town for the weekend, I wanted to wish everyone a Blessed Easter. This will be our first holiday without one of the kids. So I have to give a shout out to Levi and Zachery... "Happy Easter" to both of you and all the boys who are serving with you. We miss you and love you.

Back to the home front. Luke still wanted to color eggs this year, and when Meagan found out she came home to help. Just like old times. The girls were having a party at Meg's house but she had to stay and color eggs with Luke. Luke's friends were getting together, but he had to stay and dye eggs with Meagan. Between the two of them the cell phones were going off non stop. Then on top of it they were distracted by Wii.

We finally caught up with the rest of the world and bought a wii, used of course... Craig's list again. We had a wii fit competition to break it in. We were all doing a nice job getting our names on the leader board, then Bob had to join the fun. We spent six hours making and breaking records, Bob steps up and crushes us all! He takes all the fun out of competing. OK not all the fun. It was HILARIOUS watching him beat the Hula Hoop game. It was soooo funny! I had tears in my eyes. Priceless entertainment.

Enjoy your Easter.

Spring Break

How did you spend spring break? I got the privilege of having a sleepover at my niece and nephew's house. Boy do they have energy! I think Brewer is half kangaroo... he was bouncing on everything the entire time I was there.

Usually, I get to see them during the holidays, and they barley give me the time of day. At dinner Brewer shyly said to Mike, "I wanna sit by that lady." And Grace, who is now 5 continuously called me Loni (she's the other auntie). I think Mike and Amy don't come around enough if the children don't even recognize me.

We played every game in the house from card games to wii. In the morning we made a little craft and baked cookies. When it was time to leave they wanted to come home with me.... melt my heart.

So that night we had a sleepover at Auntie Nancy's house. We went swimming in the hot tub, watched movies, and crashed on the couch.

The kids were great, it was so fun to have little cuties in the house for a night. By noon the next day I was wiped! I think my life has changed, my battery definetly needs to be re-energized.

Here are the kids....
